Fuji X100: Pricing, availability announced for fixed-lens APS-C camera

Fujifilm USA has today ended speculation, by announcing pricing and availability for its upcoming FinePix X100 fixed-lens APS-C digital camera, whose development was first revealed at the Photokina tradeshow last September. The Fujifilm FinePix X100 has a retro design, a twelve megapixel APS-C sized image sensor, a newly developed Fujifilm EXR processor, and a fixed focal length Fujinon 23mm lens with a maximum aperture of f/2 which provides a field of view roughly equivalent to a 35mm lens on a 35mm camera. Casio adjusts H20G pricing

Casio America Inc. yesterday announced adjusted pricing for its EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-H20Gdigital camera, a model that at its launch last September was said to be the world’s first to include hybrid GPS functionality. The Casio EXILIM EX-H20G is based around a fourteen megapixel image sensor, and a 10x optical zoom lens with 24mm wide angle. Images and movies are framed and reviewed on the Casio EX-H20G’s 3.0″ LCD display. Data is stored on Secure Digital cards, and the Casio H20G is compatible with both the newer SDHC and SDXC types.
